Rihab Chaieb is a Tunisian-Canadian mezzo-soprano who most recently sang the role of Carmen with Glyndebourne Opera.  She has sung internationally at the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Opera Vlaanderen, Montpellier, Bayerische Staatsoper, Dutch National Opera, BBC Proms, Opernhaus Zurich, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Bregenser Festspiele, and others.  She was the Grand Prize winner of the George London Foundation.  She returns to the Met this season to sing Maddalena in Rigoletto.
